Career Guidance Hasbaya
“The Career Guidance and Counseling Manual” was developed in response to the local needs of the Hasbaya region and will be used in a way that reflects the area’s specific challenges. The manual is built around three main components that informed the design of its content and lesson plans: self-awareness, exploration of academic and career options, and career planning.
This manual was developed as part of the “Social Stability Mechanisms” initiative—a joint project between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Social Affairs, implemented with funding from the United Kingdom (DFID/UK) and with technical support from the organization “NAHNOO.”
These mechanisms aim to provide safe and shared spaces for local groups of activists and stakeholders to reflect and collaborate on pressing issues within their communities. Municipalities, considered key partners in this process, play a central role in supporting the use of the career guidance manual in schools.
