At NAHNOO, research is at the heart of our advocacy. We conduct evidence-based studies to inform public discourse, influence policymaking, and support community-driven solutions. Our research spans topics such as public space governance, cultural heritage preservation, urban planning, youth civic engagement, and good governance. Through partnerships with academic institutions, urban experts, and local communities, we generate knowledge that helps shape a more inclusive, participatory, and sustainable future for Lebanon.
We believe that long-term change starts with empowered individuals. NAHNOO provides tailored capacity building programs to equip youth, activists, and community leaders with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to lead transformative change in their communities. Our training modules combine theory and practice, focusing on civic education, urban rights, community organizing, and inclusive planning.
We advocate for the promotion of public spaces, accessible to all, which provide a place for those sharing Lebanon’s cities to come together regardless of their personal and social backgrounds. We believe that providing equal access to neutral public spaces fosters unity and encourages positive dialogue between different communities within Lebanese society.
